3804 - RIS 2.0 - Robotics Invention System

Lançado em 2001 (primeiramentamente no Japão e depois mundialmente) , o Robotics Invention System 2.0, foi o último da série e continuou a ser destinado ao utilizador doméstico, ou seja fora do contexto educacional. A caixa com 718 peças, continha a nova versão 2.0 do RCX, a qual, como no conjunto anterior , não possuía a possibilidade de ligar a um transformador.  A sua programação era feita com o RCX code, ao contrário da programação Robolab da versão educativa. Por fim refira-se ainda que este conjunto usava a nova torre de ligação à porta usb, nas comunicações com o RCX. Este RCX possuía uma gama de frequência nas suas comunicações (76 kHz ou contrário dos 38 kHz das anteriores versões) que possibilitava a sua interação com outros hubs da LEGO, nomeadamente o Scout.

Launched in 2001, the Robotics Invention System 2.0, was the last of the series and continued to be aimed at the home user, ie outside the educational context. The 718-piece box contained the new version 2.0 of the RCX, which, as in the previous set, did not have the possibility of connecting to a transformer. Its programming was done with the RCX code, unlike the Robolab programming of the educational version. Finally, it should be noted that this set still used the new tower for connecting to the USB port, in communications with the RCX. This RCX had a frequency range in its communications (76 kHz or contrary to the 38 kHz of previous versions) that made it possible to interact with other LEGO hubs, namely Scout.
